We need your hands, your time, and your passion. From one family in need to the next, Rockwall Area Habitat for Humanity's priceless Volunteer Builders just keep improving the quality of life for many Rockwall County families as well as the overall presence of the local communities.
Join us if you can in building a new home that will make such a positive impact for many years to come. You may also volunteer to provide food or drinks as we supply our Volunteer Builders with breakfast, lunch, and beverages while they work alongside us to make a difference. Donations for materials are also welcome, along with prayers, thoughts, and well wishes as while this project is seen through to fruition.
Still celebrating the success of 928 Joe Bailey...
“Thanks to each of you who have had a part in bringing this project to completion. Whether you lent a hand on the work site, provided food or drinks for the work crews, donated materials or money, or supported us with your thoughts and prayers, you each had an important role in getting us to this point. Since January, we have logged well over 2300 volunteer hours on-site and countless more hours behind the scenes making sure things flowed smoothly. Thanks so much for your dedication to Rockwall Area Habitat for Humanity!!!” --Sam and Mike Humphrey, RAHFH Board Members and Volunteer Coordinators.
"Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic!" I was absolutely stunned by the great turnout and incredible work effort we had this past Saturday in the completion of the home at 928 Joe Bailey. The weather was hot and the work was dirty but these factors did not dampen the spirits of the 30 plus wonderful souls that gave up their Saturday morning to spread top soil, lay sod and landscape the yard for our soon to be new home owner, Greg Landrum. I do not know how I could ever thank you enough for such generosity. Presently, we do not know when we begin construction on our next home but when we do I hope that all that contributed to the success of this project will be back with the same positive spirit and attitude. Until then, please have a safe summer and some restful Saturdays.” --Greg Caffarel, RAHFH Construction Director
